Etiquette Guide for Advent Morphs

This article written by Kaelien on 07.27.2003

As an Adventurer, I get many requests for morphs, as i'm sure you all do as well :) I am more than happy to help out (except with the reet (other) line :/) and am always thrilled to see other people acting the part of the animal that they are playing. Recently I have noted people that i've given leet form to saying things like "Moo" and other things like that ;) Therefore, i've decided to put together a list of things that are more appropriate to certain morphs so that other professions can come to the advent forum and get info ;)

Hop straight to a morph!
Leet | Reet | Kitty | Puppy | Lizard

Leet Top
(Pronouncement of Greatness) and
(Pronouncement of Greatness (Other))

Phrases that NPC Leets Say:

sup
hi
fethers
*drool*
afk
hoot
foo
kewl
noob
r u nubi?
nubi
phat lewt
leet
i ownz joo
dewd
stfu mofo
phear me
pron
ru nubi?
roxxor
whats ur equip?
ru leet?
im uber
dood
peekay
oooh...
u suxxor
coo
rawr
(only because I like it and I think it's appropriate for such a lil' fella :) This is the only one on the list that leets do not actually say)

Nibbling on toes/boots/armor is fine, I also think of leets as mischievous and therefore enjoy doing things like removing ammo from peoples weapons and putting in pebbles and such :)

Begging for Leet Treats, snacks, pudding, is very appropriate. Biting occasionally is acceptable :) Gnawing can be cute, but remember not to gnaw on things bigger than the leet such as legs. Gnaw on toes and fingers or Caterwauls :)

Leets are big talkers and like to talk about their skills and how uber they are as well as how much someone else isn't good. As opposed to a reet, leet's don't beg for stuff, but rather, have everything already.

One of the chief advantages of being in leet form is that your Cuteness Skill is raised by 800. If you use strafe to roll around in circles, you can raise it for another 1600 as long as you keep strafing.

For the friendlier leet: Leet Kisses are encouraged, and nuzzling and licking are also friendly ways to show affection.

Reet Top
(Sparrow Flight), (Sparrow Flight (Other)), (Sparrow Flight (Team))
(Just the lowest of our 3 bird lines)

Phrases that NPC Reets Say:

SPARE STUFF PLZ
CAN I HAVE UR SWORD?
WHY DID U LOOT ME?!
NEED MONEY PLZ
GIVE ME MY STUFF BACK
I'LL GET MY MAIN!
HELP
MY FRIENDS WILL KILL U

Most people don't spend too much time in Reet form (other than parrot) and therefore don't really know what to say or do. When speaking, it should be in all caps.

Usually you are going to be begging for an item or talking about how you are going to get someone back for something.

Kitty Top
(Grinning Hunter), (Grinning Hunter (Other)), (Grinning Hunter (Team))
(Just the lowest of our 2 kitty lines)

Phrases that a kitty might utter:

rawr
RAWR
roar!
*growl*
/me growls
meow
*meow*
*purr*

Kitties can be friendly or ferocious. They can go up to you and nuzzle you, or bite you. When in kitty form, it is quite appropriate to do either :)

Purring, growling, gnawing (especially on legs or arms), even licking are acceptable.

Remember that kitties are independant, but also love attention. Walking and rubbing right up next to someone or circling, then sitting around them is an excellent way to show affection :)

Puppy Top
(Playful Cub), (Playful Cub (Other)), (Playful Cub (Team))
(Just the lowest of our 3 puppy lines)

Things that a puppy might say (do?):

*growl*
woof
w00f!
*howl*
*snarl*
*bite*

I'm sure there are tons of other things you can say as a puppy too ;)

I don't RP too much as a puppy, so someone else could perhaps help on this one :)

Doggies love running fast and showing people how fast they are they love it when people pet them and scratch them behind the ears :)

Pit Lizard Top
(Calia's Form: Pit Lizard), (Calia's Form: Pit Lizard (Other)), (Calia's Form: Pit Lizard (Team))

Some things Pit Lizards might rawr:

Rawr!!
RAWR!!!
Roar!
*growl*

Pit Lizards are large. Cutest on Ruse of Taren - Phase 3 agents :) Most annoying on trox enfs.

Be respectful of other people when in pit lizard form, it causes lag, it's annoying, and a lot of people don't like it :/ That said, roar a lot, walk around, it's scary :)

Hope this helps some people, have fun :)
